The Library of Congress Labs team is hosting a webinar this Friday and has invited all digital archivists and humanists (like us!) to attend.
It’s a wrap-up/summary report out of their accomplishments from their $1 million Mellon Foundation grant for Computing Cultural Heritage in the Cloud: how to make library collections available for computational research.
Much of the grant went into a fund efforts to produce datasets, code samples, and the like, which are great building blocks for us.
They’re calling this webinar a “Closing” of the grant, but it sounds to me more like a grand re-opening of the labs site. Hope you can make it!
