The OHM admins have graciously allowed me to create a new discussion category for my crowdsourced Sanborn map georeferencing platform, OldInsuranceMaps.net.
If you are mapping features in cities and towns in the US between 1880 and 1960, Sanborn maps are an incredible source of information, and via OIM they can be used as basemaps for digitizing features into OHM.
Feel free make a post over there to introduce yourself and your interest in/use of Sanborn maps, or just discuss the platform in general. One note: When you make a post, click the Add Location button and set the city you are interested in (no need to use a full address!). That will give us a map of where people are tuning in from
