I found https://histography.io/ some time ago and wanted to put it on the map…not sure how to go about it.
I am new to OHM and OSM as well so not have much experience with mapping as such but would love to know more.

This page probably has something similar to what you are looking for.
I think it would be nice to have a page with the most important events of the years with their geographical location, and maybe even add it somewhere on the OHM main page.

Thanks for mentioning the On This Day feature. I started compiling some of these pages earlier this year but fell behind. I’d welcome help in filling in the missing days with changes from OHM. It’s probably more manual than what Historiography is doing, but I’ve enjoyed learning about the hidden gems of local coverage in OHM by putting together these pages.
