How to download Roman Empire borders from OpenHistoricalMap for different periods?

Hello everyone,

I only speak Spanish, so I am using a translator to write this message.

I am having a problem because I do not understand how to properly download data from OpenHistoricalMap. I am working on a project in QGIS, and I would like to download the borders of the Roman Empire for different periods of time.

I would be very grateful for any help or guidance on how to do this.

I have found the best way is to use JOSM with the OpenData plugin. Then query for the boundaries and download as GeoJSON format.

Also you can query Overpass Turbo but sometimes it’s hard to load big relations. You could modify this query in this post
