Bomb crater collector layer

Let’s say we are looking at some part of a city, and wonder “was this
place ever bombed?”

Well maybe have a layer that collects all bomb craters and keeps them
forever, across the ages.

Hmm, maybe also: was there a trench/boundary/barb-wire fence ever here?

Maybe a layer that is simply the sum of everything for all time.

Very interesting! That would create quite a dataset… all the places people have ever bombed. Were you thinking of just war-related bombing in modern ages, or including historical sieges of cities (i.e., the Mongols, etc.), or terrorist attacks, etc.?

Also… could we accomplish this without a separate layer, using tags and queries? This question is relevant to quite a few datasets, where thematic information should be grouped and categorized, but that doesn’t belong in a relation.

I do know sometimes I have a bug where a time isn’t set on the OHM website so everything appears all together; so I think it’s probably achievable!

Indeed, at least in the Orient houses sell for much less if somebody’s ever been murdered in one.

So with the click of a button, real estate investors could pick up some good deals.

As for which button that should be, I’ll leave that up to you guys.
