Personal page to document tramways in Mainz

Just for anyone’s information, I’ve decided to create a page on my Wiki page to track the status of the tramway network of Mainz including and major sources: User:ManuelB701/OpenHistoricalMap/Straßenbahn Mainz - OpenStreetMap Wiki

The main purpose is to keep track of the status of the individual lines as well as which sources were used (primarily to keep track of the major ones like books about the tramway itself and maps which show these) alongside some other other major events such as the electrification of the tramway.

Naturally WIP because I want to put more of the info into tables including deciding columns are important (though I’ll also note that I’d be a great idea to create some OHM specific templates like sources to make it easier to set up these tables).

The OSM Wiki does have a {{cite map}} template, but it’s based on an extremely old version of an English Wikipedia template (documentation). Someone needs to completely revamp the wiki’s collection of citation templates, upgrading to the CS1 citation module or the Wikimedia Commons version, which may be better suited to a multilingual wiki. Modern citation templates would also enable us to maintain bibliographies on the wiki instead of trying to stuff them into 255-character-long tags.
